Inspired by the Anasazy symbol for healing and the infinite form of the spiral geometry, Healix is a helictical point cloud sculpture aiming to represent the Health Sciences culture at Bridgerland Technical College. Composed of 9000 suspended sea glass pieces I oversaw the design system that dynamically creates a helictical shape and populates it with points in space
to meet the density and color scheme required. Coordination with the architecture and engineering team was critical to avoid conflict with existing HVAC and structural design.
